Vorontsova O. Peculiarities of Maria Halych's literary work in the context of the literary organization "Lanka" - MARS

The key features of the prosaic heritage by Maria Halych in the context of the literary organization "Lanka" - MARS's members are researched in the thesis. The evolution of literary success of the organization from ASPYS to MARS and the writers' involvement in the organization are analysed here. The origin of Maria Halych's genre system is being described in the dissertation. Basing on the analysis of the author's artistic world, the specifics of her imagery, plot and composition peculiarities the researcher concludes that romantic impressionism made the background of the writer's aesthetics. Some existential features of Maria Halych's literary works are being pointed out. Much attention is paid to the theme and style evolution of her prose in the post-revolution literature. The genre specifics of Maria Halych's memoir works, where the "Lanka" members are depicted, is defined in the dissertation.
