The thesis is dedicated to the research of a professional school psychologist position, its development within the system of postgraduate education. There were represented the main approaches and the methods on evaluating the professional psychologist's position in the Paper. There were revealed the sense of a professional position that to be understood as an integral notional personality formation reflecting a stable system of the attitudes to a profession, towards educational process participants, to oneself, and includes appreciation of a professional experience, the reality, the perspectives as well as the personal achievements to be realized to a certain extent within the activity chosen. The paper is aimed to determination of the basic elements, establishment of the psychological properties and the role of the professional position within the activity of a school psychologist and ascertainment the level of a professional position molded by the starting school psychologists.
