3. Object: modern political process from the point of view of functioning an electoral system. The purpose: revealing of laws, tendencies and features of development of institute of elections and types of an electoral system on the basis of centuries-old experience which is reflected in a history of world(global) and domestic political idea and practice. Methods: a method of a parity(ratio) historical and logic, the comparative-historical, retrospective historical analysis, comparative analytical research, inductive - deductive. Novelty: classification of stages of formation of an electoral system in Ukraine is developed; the system analysis of positive experience is carried out(spent) during evolution of an electoral system in Ukraine, the interrelation of democracy and elections is revealed, the essence of an electoral system as paradigms of becoming of democratic statehood is established. Approbation: eight publications. Sphere of use: a political science and practice.
