Essay

Object of researches: calves of Black-Speckled breed, cryptosporidia, feces, blood serum and whole blood, coccidiostatics, immunomodulator. Purpose of researches: to study epizootology of calves' cryptosporidiosis on the farms of the Forest-Steppe zone in Ukraine; clinical symptom disease, to define the influence of cryptosporidia and some coccidiostatics on a sick animals' organism. Methods of researches: epizootological, coproovoscopical, morphological, biochemical, economical. Apparatus: microscope, photoelectrocolormeter, ice-camera, spectrophotometer, centrifuge, thermostat, camera of Gorlev, pH-meter. Theoretical results: spreading , seasonal and age dynamics of calves' cryptosporidiosis on the farms of the Forest-Steppe zone in Ukraine were studied; therapeutic efficiency of coccidiostatics of domestic production (brovaseptol and brovitacoccid in the combination with immunomodulator (Echinacea purpurea spirit tincture) has been established. Practical results: For calves' cryptosporidiosis treatment and application to production coccidiostatic brovitacoccid with Echinacea purpurea spirit tincture is suggested. Novelty: epizootic situation on calves' cryptosporidiosis and also changes of morphological and biochemical sick animals' blood indices have been studied. Treatment and prophylaxis are proposed. Branch of usage: veterinary medicine. Degree of application: methodical recommendation "Animal cryptosporidiosis (diagnostics, treatment, prophylaxis)".
