Object of research: coccomycoses of cherry and sweet cherry trees.Aim : investigation of spreading and losses coccomycose trees and measures restricting its harmfulness in the eastern Forest-Steppe zone of UkraineMethods: field, laboratory, statistical.Theoretical and practical results: The influence of agrometeorologi-cal conditions on cherry and sweet cherry by Coccomyces hiemalis stem rot is investigated and methods of limiting its losses under con-ditions in the eastern Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine.Scientific novelty: Spreading and losses from coccomycoses of cherry and sweet cherry rot were first detected in the eastern Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine. Biological features of the pathogen, sourcer of the disease renewing and spore type of primary contamination. There have been reveated the factors influencing the pathogen development during the vegetation period. The basic results of researches are introduced into the proactive of crop production.
