Subject: means of character formation in V.Vynnychenko's novels of the 1910s. Goal: to study the typology of Ukrainian intellectuals' characters in V.Vynnychenko's novels of the 1910s. Methods: typological, comparative, biographical, psycho-analytical, hermeneutic. Results: complex analysis of the Intellectuals' characters of V.Vynnychenko's novels of the 1910s. ithe ligth of existential philosophy and psychoanalysis has been carried out. Application: can be used in reading courses in the History of Literature, other theoretical and specialized courses, in conducting specialized seminars.
