Semantico-grammar class of singular invariable nouns as a word-building basis of forming desubstantive of different parts of speech in modern Ukrainian. The aim is to define that word-building potential of singular invariable nouns in modern Ukrainian. The methods are descriptive, functional, the method of componental analysis, the quantitative mothod. Theoretical significance is defined by complex semantico-word formation analysis of singular invariable nouns as an integral part of the noun septem in the modern Ukrainian language.
