Functional-semantic field of quantity in modern Ukrainian language. The aim is the explanation of semantics and system of functions of functional-semantic field of quantity. The methods are descriptive, inductive, hypothetico-deductive. First in Ukrainian linguistics there have been carried out onomasiological and complex functional anakysis of quantitative units of different levels within the limits of one functional-semantic field of quantity. The results of the investigation can be used in theoretical courses in morphology, syntex, lexicology and word formation in the modern Ukrainian literary language, in the courses of Ukrainian stylistics.The sphere of usage -higher school
