In the paper ukrainian mythological lexical units as one of the lexical microsystems of the language are researched: structurally semantic and functionally stylistic analysis of mythological denotations is carried on. Mythological lexical units taken in the language system are considered in the close connection with categories of culture and ethnology; inherently linguistic and extra linguistic factors are being found out which are favourable to the development of the perspective of the stylistical image of mythological name.
