Object - autobiographical works of V. Drozd, I. Zhylenko, J. Ivanychuk, P. Naniyv, M. Nevydaylo and V. Lopata. The aim is to comprehend the specificity of the objective validity's art display in the Ukrainian art memoirs and autobiographical stories of 1990 years of the 20th century, to research the poetic of a genre selected for the analysis of products, to define their aesthetic value. Methods - comparative- typological, complete structural analysis. The Ph. D. thesis is devoted to the research of Ukrainian autobiographical prose of 1990 years of the 20th century, such genres as art memoirs and autobiographical story in the aspect of poetics of the art text. The objects of the present research are the thematic centres of the autobiographical stories and art memoirs, the ways of aesthetics in its autobiographical material, and also specific construction of character of the author. Comparison of the autobiographical stories and art memoirs of 1990 years of the 20th century, its precise differentiationbased on the chosen criteria allowed to extend the analysis of the products.
