Boldyreva L. Development and morfo-biological study foundation material of grain sorghum for selection on heterosis in the conditions of Crimea

Оbject - selection of the species and hybrids of sorghum; purpose - development, study, usage of the new material and on its basis development of the species and hybrids of sorghum; methods - field and laboratory; novelty - according, analyzed a new original material for the selection of grain sorghum, defined combinative ability, reaction on CMC in lines, and on this basis synthesized hybrid combinations adopted to drought conditions; results - according to selective and genetic researches there were developed 20 self-pollinated lines and 21 sterile analogs, which are used for the development of the species and hybrids, 7 of which are included into the State Register; introduction - the seeds of the new species and hybrids sorghum were sown on 10595 hectares if agricultural area on the farms of the Crimea, Kherson and other regions; the sphere of using is agriculture.
