In the thesis historical musikal context of a period spent as a student and beginning of creative activity of a prominent pianist Vladimir Horowitz, was reconstituted; chronological landmarks of Horowitz' life in Kiev were specified and restored; his genealogi, the family's way of living and biografies of its members were investigated in detal; entire overview about importance of music for Horovitz' family was created; influence of traditions existing in Kiev musical educational institution on formation Horovitz' personality and performing individuality was discovered; repertoire that Horovitz-student and young performer - was mastering during Kiev's period of biography was examined and scientifically interpreted.
