Essay

The dissertation work is devoted to the development of conditions of implementation of loose material (send and alternative material), on locomotives of railway transport. The fulfillment the conditions guarantees high coupler qualities of wheels with rails at simultaneous lowering of wheel and rails surface wear (in comparison with the existing level), minimization of the work material consumption and compressed air, simplification and price reduction the construction of the system of short-term improvement of cohesion. The solving of the problem is based on using of the got mathematical models of process of power interaction of "wheel-rail", and wear of contacting surfaces of the wheel and rail. The adequacy of the suggested mathematical models confirmed the experimental validation, and expediency of alternative work materials using. The device of electromagnetic batching and conveyance of particulate matter to zone of wheel and rail contact is developed. Laboratory and development testing of the device was successful.
