Essay

Object of research - not flooded water jets in air space and usаge of them for a for protection of the tank for storage of petroleum. The purpose - definition of hydraulic parameters and characteristics of a radial water jet for usage as thermal screen at fires on VST, and also substantiation of thermal restrictions. Methods - experimental and theoretical researches. The theoretical and practical results - the systems of radial jets - screens for protection against action of a thermal flow of tanks with petroleum are offered and theoretically investigated. Novelty - the parameters of radial water jets - screens for protection against action of a thermal flow of tanks with petroleum are determined. The degree of introduction - the results of researches are introduced in practical activity of central administrative board of MES of Ukraine in the Cherkassk region, combine "Krivorozhstal'". Sphere of introduction - practical activity of fire units.
