Yankovska L. The ecological-geographical regionalization of the territory of an administrative region (on the materials of the Ternopil region)

The thesis deals with the ecological-geographical regionaliza-tion of the territory of an administrative region. The criteria, principles and methods of the ecological-geographical region-alization are proposed. The territorial aspects of the potential resistance and the level of the anthropogenic transformation of the landscape systems are evaluated and analyzed; the ecologi-cal situation within the Ternopil region is characterized. The map of the ecological-geographical regionalization of the Ter-nopil region's territory is composed. On the basis of the eco-logical-geographical regionalization scheme the trends and ways of the optimization of the structure territorial usage in the region are grounded. The scheme of the optimal landscape-ecological organization of the regional territory is proposed
