Pavlenko A. Development of models of transport unit logistics chains’ functioning to choose intensive technologies of freights traffic

The thesis deals with the problems of improving the technologies of transport units logistics chains’ functioning. The concept of transport units restructuring on the base of logistics principles of freights traffic organization is offered in this work. The criterion of efficiency of transport units logistics chains’ functioning is offered, determination of which makes possible to consider interests of both carriers and freight-owners. Models of transport units logistics chains’ functioning with railway transport sector dominating have been developed on the base of the theory of Petri nets, which enabled to make analysis and choice of unit’ functioning optimal variant. Methods to choose variants of freights traffic intensive technologies on the base of integration approach to transport unit logistics chains’ functioning have been developed.
