The dissertation deals with the systemic review of the toponymy of the Holohora-Kremenets range and Male Polissya; geographical and social conditions of the local geographico-tomonymical systems formation are analyzed. This is a new approach to the investigation which allows using geographical names as an informational source referring the way landscapes changed from their primary state to the present one being changed anthropologically. The found out geographical regularities of toponymy provide for the true etymology of the numerous names defined which contributes much for the preservation of the monuments of material and spiritual culture of Ukrainian people.
