Essay

The dissertation is devoted to treatment of infertility in women with Polycystic Ovaries Syndrome (PCOS) by use of in-vitro fertilization. We found significant decrease of oocyte and embrios quality as welle as pregnancy rate (19,5%)in women with PCOS. The frequency and severity of of Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome (OHSS)was higher in patients with PCOS(43,8%). Patients with PCOS, who was treated with metformin, has higher pregnancy rate (45,2%) and decrease of frequency and severity of OHSS (16,1%).
