Object of research - ischemic stroke of patients with diabetes mellitus. Topic of research - pre-cerebral arteries, structural and morphological modifications of cerebrum, arterial hypertension - risk factor, clinical symptoms of stroke of patients with accompanying diabetes. The data regarding the mechanisms of stroke of patients with diabetes mellitus are systemized, atherosclerosis process of pre-cerebral vessels is characterized, mechanisms of development of recurring stroke and parameters of arterial pressure during first 6 hours after appearance of stroke are analyzed, clinical particularities of stroke of patients with diabetes mellitus are defined.
