Kapitan T. The Russian short story of the begining of the 20th century (Genre typology).

The object of the research is Russian writers' short stories of the beginning of the XXth century: L.Andreev's, M.Artsibashev's, I.Bunin's, B.Zaitsev's, A.Kuprin's, F.Sologub's, I.Shmelev's.The purpose is to analize main conformities of the development of short story genre in Russian literature of the beginning of the XXth century. Thre are such methods as historical and literary, systematic, typological. It enriches and supplements the existing understanding of the place of a short story in Genre System of Russian literature of the beginning of the XXth century and presents the original research of its genre typology. The intristic possibilities of genre inherent in short story as a small form of epic kind, and its varieties too, whick occur in the result out of genre connections, were analyzed in my research. The sphere of use is studying process.
