Trufanov Y. Trufanov Y.A. Clinical ratios in patients with multiple sclerosis.

The dissertation deals with the study of clinical ratios between the neurological, constitutional-demographic and medical-psychological parameters in patients with multiple sclerosis. Medical-psychological inspection was carried out with the help of the Personality questionnaire of Bechterev's Institute, the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory in adaptation of F.B. Berezin, the Lyusher's test in the formalized adaptation of its 8-colour variant with the use of interpretation coefficients according to G. Aminev and L. Sobchik. It has been established that 80.6% of patients with multiple sclerosis reveal an obvious inadequacy between the subjective picture of the disease and its objective clinical and paraclinical representations. Abnormal types of structures of MMPI profiles have been revealed in 82.4% of patients with multiple sclerosis, abnormal configurations of structures of MMPI profiles took place in 85.2% of patients. Neurological manifestations (seriousness of the disease, type of the clinical course, duration, the age at which the disease started) and constitutional-demographic manifestations (age and sex) of multiple sclerosis have been found to be related to the types of psychological reaction to the disease, the configurations and types of structures of MMPI profiles, and also to be connected with the dynamics of the level of emotional intensity, the type of vegetative balance and the level of working capacity of patients.
