Kolisnyk L. Social-ethnic status of Russians in modern Ukraine (South-Easten region)

Object of the research: town Russians in the South-Easten region of the modern Ukraine. Objective of research: studying of position of Russians of the South-Easten region in Ukraine, on the base on the features of social-ethnic status, used in the process of empirical research.. Methods of the research: systematical, structural, historical, comparative. Theoretical and practical results: the ethno-social structure of the population can be explained from the point of view of the problem of the ethnic equality or inequality. The concept "social-ethnic status" and investigated on the base of this concept specialties of Russians' status in the South-Easten region of Ukraine were defined. Novelty: Proposes the new approach to the studying of the social-ethnic status on the base of traditional theories and paradigm of constructivism. Its structural components were defined, specialties of Russians' ethnical identity in cities of investigated region of Ukraine were shown, causes of social- status of Russiansin Ukraine were cleared up. The level of the application the results were applied in studying courses of sociology for students of National Mining University.
