Object of the study: Severe abdominal hemorrhage complicated by hemorrhagic shock. Purpose of the study: To investigate temporary partial aortic occlusion in experiment and evaluate its effectiveness in combined surgical treatment of patients' with severe abdominal hemorrhage. Methods of the investigation: Central hemodynamic parameters, blood acid-base state, markers of reperfusional syndrome in experimental and clinical studies, microscopic studies of different animal tissues. Theoretical and practical results: During operative interventions with temporary aortic occlusion in patients with severe different etiological uncontrolled abdominal hemorrhage temporary hemostasis, hemodynamic stabilization and reducing mortality were achieved. Novelty of the obtained results:For the first time effectiveness of hemostasis and its preservation during and after different algorithms of experimental aortic occlusion was evaluated, comparative evaluation of central hemodynamic parameters, blood acid-base state andexpression of reperfusional syndrome was done. For the first time basing on microscopic studies comparative morphological disturbances in internal organs over and under aortic occlusion were determined. Basing on clinical-experimental data algorithm of temporary aortic occlusion for treatment of profuse abdominal bleeding is proposed. Degree of introduction: The results of the research were introduced into the practice of surgery departments of Institute for Urgent and General Surgery and Institute for Surgery and Transplantation (Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine). Sphere of application: medicine, surgery.
