Belavska B. Main questions of diagnosis and treatment of acute appendicitis

The object is diagnostics and treatment of acute appendicitis ,the target is reducing of unnecessary done appendectomies by means of enhanced diagnostics of acute appendicitis ; the methods are as follow:clinical,laboratorial,instrumental,patogistological,ultrasonographical and statistical;the novelty is a determination of risk factors leading to hyperdiagnostics in acute appendicitis;showed that quantity of perforate appendicitis is a stable number ;proved the possibility of prolongation watch period after patients with suspition of acute appendicitis when the diagnosis is unclear;the results is a proposition of algorithm for the treatment-diagnostical procedures for the patients with a suspition for acute appendicitis;implenented on practice the formalised diagnostics based on Alvarado scale and an ultrasonographical investigation of patients with a suspition of acute appendicitis;the field is surgery.
