Object - patients suffering with acute diverticulities of Large intestine; aim - to improve the curing results with acute diverticulities of Large intestine; methods - clinical, endoscopic, radial, prognostic, histological, statistical; northerly - noncomplicated, peritoneal and retroperitoneal forms of acute diverticulities of Large intestine were studied and the clinical forms were elaborated; for the first time the formalized system of the determination of the operative risk was created as one of the main operative methods and the classification of the operations was proposed to patients with acute diverticulities of Large intestine; results - the character and the choosing the methods of operations were optimized; postoperative deaths of the patients suffering with acute diverticulities of Large intestine were reduced; the results were instilled into diagnostic medical process and in the process of studying; speciality - surgery.
