Essay

The work is devoted to ascertaining the influence of complete fasting and enterosorption on the processes of free radical lipid oxidation, detoxic system, endogenic intoxication and the liver structure in toxic tetrachlormethane affection. For the first time the dynamics of indices of free radical lipid oxidation, antioxidant protection, syndromic-endogenic intoxication and the activity of aminotransferases in the plasma of the blood and the liver have been assessed in applying coupled biochemical and morphologic techniques. Morphologic manifestation of hepatocytes adaptation in healthy rats in complete fasting have been ascertained as well. Two chains of pathogenesis of tetrachlormethane hepatosis have been assessed: the metabolic chain that is accompanied by sharp activation of free radical lipid oxidation, increasing endotoxemia and inhibiting detoxic function; the ischemic chain that deepens the processes of dystrophy, desorganization of membranous structures and necrosis of hepatocytes.
