Essay

The dissertation delivers the theoretical analysis of the essence, psychological characteristics and pedagogic potential of educational world-view dialogues. Provided are the criteria of the efficacy of educational world-view dialogues related to cognition, judgment and values, and activity. The main psychological and pedagogic factors of the educational world-view dialogues' efficacy are elicited. It is shown that the learners' world-view formation in the process of a dialogue is stimulated by the realization of the complex of psychological and pedagogical conditions which include: (a) the organization of co-operation of the educational process actors throngh actualizing each learner's experience and creating the psychological climate which helps in expressing his/her individuality; (b) the combination of objectivity in the teacher's valuing of the mode of solving the discussed problem with his/her general positive attitude in the valuing of learners' activity.
