Palej L. The nouns stress in V. Sossura's poetry.

The stress of nouns found in V. Sossura's poems is examined in this work. The role of poetical accentuation, its specific character and correspondence to the modern Ukrainian literary standard is determined. For this purpose the accentual analysis of lexemes is carried out in synchronic and partially diachronic aspects. The process of unification of the stress in accentual types is retraced, the original stress of some words is given and it is delt with variation and author's accentuation. The study of the poetical stress peculiarities and their comparison with the modern normative stress permits to determine appropriateness and tendencies of accentual development of the nouns and of their grammatical forms.
