Samosyuk N. Magnetolaser therapy in the complex treatment of patients during acute period of ischemic stroke.

The thesis is devoted to the study of possibilities and clinical-pathogenetic substantiation for the frequency-modulative magnetolaser therapy (FM MLT) usage in the complex treatment of ischemic stroke (IS) during acute period. It was experimentally showed that 5-10 laser energy percentages of power, given to scalp passed along to cerebral tissues. Experiments carried out become a background for clinical application of FM MLT in IS. Advantage of FM MLT in combination with medicamental treatment over the pure medicamental treatment has been proved on adequate clinical material (151 patients). FM MLT in the patients with IS during acute period, especially in a "therapeutic window" limit has certain neuroprotective and antioedematic influence. It assists to earlier revascularization of ischemic focus, that leaded to more perfect functions's recovery. Data obtained testify the expediency of FM MLT application in the complex treatment of IS during acute period.
