Mykolaychuk M. Diagnostics of region social-economic development as an element of mechanism of public administration

The object is the processes of public administration of regional development. The aim of research is the scientific grounds for ways in improvement of public administration mechanisms for social-economical development of territory, namely: making the model for diagnostics of territorial economic development effectiveness on the regional and subregional levels, the structure of system for informational-analytic support in process of making decisions for regional development. The methods of research are general scientific methods of theoretical and empirical levels. The new approach lies in the theoretical substantiation and practical realization of the new approaches to evaluation of effectiveness in social-economic development of a territory at the regional level and defining gaps in regional development. The main results include the substantiation of model for process of diagnostics of territorial economic development effectiveness, the structure of system for informational-analytic support in process of making decisions for regional development and the plan for participants of these processes. All this thesis has been implemented into the work of The Chief Directorate of Economy of Odesa Oblast State Administration; The Chief Directorate of Economy of Kherson Oblast State Administration; The Chief Directorate of Statistics in Autonomous Republic Crimea. The field is public administration.
