Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the study of the surface tension (ST) of the blood serum and the spinal fluid (SF) by computer tensiometers MRT-1 and MRT-2 (Lauda, Germany) in patients with common neurologic disorders. Abnormalities of blood and SF ST have definite pecularities in different neurologic pathologies. A reduction of indices in the region of ohort (t=0-0 (sec)) and mean (t=1 sec) surface life times is characteristic for infections, spondylogenic, tumour and traumatic diseases. An increase in these parameters is noted in SF in infections, vascular and traumatic diseases of the nervous system. The state of dynamic interphase tensiograms of biologic fluids in determined by activity of inflammatory process and depends on the content of b2-microglobulin, febronectin, cholesterol, lipoproteins of various density. The study of the dynamic ST of biologic fluids allows us to carry out differential diagnosis, to prognose the ciruse of pathologic process and control the efficacy of treatment.
