Papish V. The semantic-functional nature of phraseological units in the emotive prose of Transcarpathian - Ukrainian writers (the 40-90th of the XX th century).

The subject of the investigation is the phraseological system of the Ukrainian language and the subject-matter is the usual and occasional phraseologisms functioning in a fiction text. The aim of the investigation consists in the complex manysided analysis of the phraseological wealth in belles-lettres works by Transcarpathia's Ukrainian writers of the 40-90-ies of the XXth century. The methods of investigation: of descriptive and contextual analyses, distributive, componential, statistical analyses, the method of identification and phraseological application. The scientific novelty: the phraseological fund has been investigated for the first time on the basis of emotive prose texts of Transcarpathia's Ukrainian writers and there has been determined the correlation between the usual and the occasional in the author's speech. The practical value of the work: from the practical point of view the research results may be used in the process of educational work, while conducting year and graduation researchworks, in compiling dictionaries and phraseological glossaries of writers' works, in school practice - in analysing the language of the texts under study and individual styles of prose writers at literature classes.
