The object is literary-artistic anthroponymy of the Ukrainian drama in the ХІХ-ХХ century; the thesis focuses on the problems of literary-artistic anthroponymy of the Ukrainian drama in the ХІХ-ХХ century; the methds are theoretical analysis, statistical methods; the new basic terms of literary-artistic anthroponymy have been specified in the thesis, functional load of literary-artistic anthroponyms has been established as well as its composition, the structure of the literary-artistic anthroponymy has been investigated, semantic variations of literary-artistic onyms have been determined, specific features of the literary-artistic anthroponyms have been revealed which were used in the Ukrainian plays of the ХІХ-ХХ century, semantic variations of literary-artistic onyms have been determined, occurring in this use, the study contains the material for the next onomastic dictionary of the Ukrainian literature; the field is Ukrainian language.
