Essay

Theoretical and methodological approaches have been studied as to determination of the category "efficiency of foreign economic activity of enterprises". The essence, conditions of formation and components of economic-organizing mechanism of determination of efficiency of foreign economic activity of enterprises have been substantiated. The choice of methodological approaches has been argued as to the analysis of foreign economic activity of enterprises, the technique of carrying out of such analysis has been elaborated which is based on application of certain economic-statistical and economic-mathematical methods. The system of estimated figures has been defined, as well as the criteria of efficiency of foreign economic activity of enterprises by means of calculation of relative and absolute export efficiency. Application of R. Bellman's principle of optimality in evaluation of efficiency of the enterprise's export has been substantiated on the basis of which countries and commodity groups are defined which maximalize the volume and level of profitability of exports. The existence of actual and possible efficiency of foreign economic activity of enterprises has been argued. Recommendations and proposals stated in the thesis will contribute to increase in efficiency of foreign economic operations of enterprises in the conditions of transitive economy
