Essay

The object of investigation consists of the information processing in a radar system for vertical sounding an atmospheric boundary layer. This system includs a Doppler radio profiler and radio acoustic sounding system. The aim is a enhancement of measuring meteorological parameters and extension of a reliable determination space. The methods used are autoregressive spectral analysis, parametrization of a spectrum, prediction, statistical theory and correlation theory. The newness includes the proof of the efficiency of usage of the developed new combination methods for a spectrum parametrization; the effectiveness of prediction theory application for an extrapolation of wind velocity profiles is proved; the algorithm of a radio frequency self-tuning in a radio acoustic system is improved. The results are: the time of a spectrum parametrization is reduce; the area of the reliable determination of profiles of the temperature, wind velocity and direction is extended.
