Essay

The aim of the dissertation is to increase the efficiency of signal conversion in radio systems based on the use of magneto-optical converters. The dissertation is directed on the decision of an actual scientific and applied problem which consists in efficiency of use of a new method of spectral conversion of signals on the basis of Faraday effect and Malus' law by means of the magneto-optical converter. Constructive solutions and new methods of signal conversion for radio equipment units are proposed: signal spectrum converter, signal frequency multiplier, signal amplitude multiplier, phase shifters and signal phase difference measuring devices. This allows to significantly expand the scope of the method and to develop devices, in particular for radio systems, based on it.
