The object is novels of 1860-es by I. Goncharov, I. Turgenyev, N. Chernyshevskiy, N. Leskov, L. Tolstoy, F. Dostoyevskiy. The aim is to work out typology of central women characters in novels of 1860-s. Methods of problem and comparative and historical (genetical and typological) analysis. The new approach lies in representing of common typology of heroins in the novel of 1860-s. Field of use - history of Russian literature of the II half of the XIX cent.
