Essay

The object of study - stereotypes of the Ukrainian national culture as the centers of preservation and reproduction of elements directed on designing to ethnic identity and mentality. The purpose of work - analysis of phenomena of cultural stereotypes and their functions on base of philosophical-anthropologic represent of the texts of national fairy tales as specific narrative of structures with the certain organization, in which by a respective way exists and keeps national marked semioticaly formated system displaying ethnic identity and mentality. Methods: comparative approach to consideration and analysis of the texts of national fairy tales. The thesis has marked out and considered the system of cultural stereotypes as one the leading factors of forming and keeping of the peculiarities of Ukrainian ethnos and its mentality. The investigations were carried out on the texts of the popular folk tales that were written down in different regions of Ukraine and had a rather wide historical gap. As the result it was found out not only the ability of folk texts to accumulate cultural stereotypes. The practical value of work consists in an opportunity of the profound research of national mentality, mechanisms of fastening, transfer and functioning of ethnic, national identity. The results of research, theoretical generalizations and conclusions can be used as in scientific for as in teaching activity, in gender researches, be entered into course on philosophical disciplines. Sphere of application - philosophical anthropology, philosophy of cultures, philosophical psychology, ethnic pedagogies, ethnic psycholinguistics, linguistical culturology.
