Vasiljeva G. Dynamics of Cognitive Disorders in Treatment Different Anti-Psychotic Drags (by the Example of Schizophrenia).

The dissertation is dedicated to the dynamics of two groups of anti-psychotic drags (haloperidol, a typical one, and rispolept, an atypical one) influence on characteristics of the schizophrenic patients cognitive activity. Practical importance of the results got lies in the fact that they can be used for objective estimation of schizophrenic patient's condition in the process of the medical treatment for prognosis of their social rehabilitation. The method of express diagnostics used in a psychiatric clinic for diagnostic estimation of the cognitive function condition allows to more objectively estimate the present mental condition of a patient as well as the dynamic of the medical treatment. Reliability and simplicity of the data assessment allows clinicians to regulate more flexibly the process of treatment, the period of staying in the clinic, dosage of the drags. Quantitative estimation of the cognitive function during the medical treatment allows to form positive attitude of patients treatment and achieve more stable results, deliver additional psychotherapeutic influence on the patients.
