Essay

The work gives the general problem of safety navigation of sail-driven vessel. The differential equation was obtained for the determination of the vessel's movement in dependence on the heeling angle. The optimized calculation of the minimized amplitude of the heeling angle of the vessel was proposed. On the base of the existing model the estimation at the steerability of the sailing vessel was advised. The special features of influence on ship's maneuvering were determined.
