Шуткевич Е. Private farms development in Ukrainian Polissya.

Object of research: farms in Zhytomyr region, particularly in Polissya zone.The purpose of research: To prove theoretical basis and develop practical recommendations for further development of farms in Zhytomyr region and Polissya in particularly. Methods: cognition dialectical and system methods to study social and economic events are used, as well as the method of systematic and comparative analysis, historical and logistic comparison; monographic, survey, normative methods; design-structural, statistic grouping and graphic methods. Theoretical and practical results: Possible ways of their implementations in further development of farms in Polissya zone, intensification of production specialization and concentration, development of rational farm types, enhancement of their technical, financial and human recourse provision, improvement of economic mechanism and government support, increasing of production efficiency. Scientific novelty: Based on complex research of current state and tendencies in farming formation, organizational and economic aspects of farm development and increasing of their efficiency are worked out. This will ensure the solving of important scientific and applied problems faced by farms in Polissya zone in Ukraine. Degree of introduction: the main research results are used by Department of Agriculture and Food in Zhytomyr Regional State Administration, by "Nadia" and "Liana" farms in Zhytomyr region. Efficiency: research results will contribute to increase farm production efficiency, to intensification of production specialization and concentration level of production. It will create advanced farm types and their technical and material recourses and will also improve economic relations. Sphere, branch of use: farm enterprises, Ministry of Agrarian policy of Ukraine, Ukraine state found for farm enterprise support, Farmers Association and private farmers of Ukraine as well.
