Object of the study: arrosive bleeding as a manifestation of pyo-inflammatory complications in patients with CILE after reconstructive operations with synthetic graft with employment Purpose of the study: Objective of the work is improving the results of recononstructive operations on the aortofemoral segment employing artificial graft in patients with CILE by decreasing the rate of infections complications Methods of the investigation: Common clinical, biochemical, bacteriological, ultrasonud, angio-and-radiopaque. Theoretical and practical results: Implementation of prognostic evaluation system for patients with CILE requiring reconstructive operations makes it possible to single out the risk group as regards the development of arrosive bleeding. The use algorithm for conducting treatment-and-prophylaxy procedures to prevent early infections makes it possible to select an optimal tactics for treating the patients and creating appropriate condition for reconstructive operations to decrease the rate of infection. Novelty: Significant criteria for prognosing arrosive bleeding were determined first in patients with CILE in postoperative period, making it possible to define the methods of treatment-and-prophylaxy procedures. Treating artificial graft with 0,5% solution of vantol or miramistin, as well as their impregnation with zero-valent Ag in the silver mirror reaction were shown to provide the graft with antimicrobiol properties. Degree of introduction: The results of the research were introduced into the practice of surgery departments of Institute for Urgent and General Surgery (Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine), of Kharkov clinical hospital for emergency medical assistance and of the vascular therapy departments at the central and district hospital of Kharkov. Sphere of application: medicine, surgery
