Essay

Thesis is devoted to the investigation of the effect of temperature, saline solutions and cryoprotectants on hemoglobin A and fetal hemoglobin, as well as to the study of these proteins interaction with model liposomal membranes. Using the spectrophotometry method it was shown, that the freeze-thawing resulted in an increase of the hemoglobin metform content. The solutions of salts result in fetal hemoglobin disintegration in dimmers under lower concentrations of salts, than for hemoglobin A. Under low-temperature influence on hemoglobin A and fetal hemoglobin 1,2-propandiol changes the conformation of fetal hemoglobin and does not affect hemoglobin A. It was determined, that the freez-thawing of oxyhemoglobins A and F do not affect the kinetic of interaction with liposomal membranes, formed from cardiolipin and phosphatidylcholine. Key words: hemoglobins A and F, conformational state, differential UV-spectrophotometry, cryoprotectants, liposomes, freeze-thawing.
