3. Object: economic and organizational processes of technological potential formation in dairy cattle breeding. The purpose: generalization and extension of the basic trends in the process of dairy cattle breeding intensification; improvement of the branch efficiency and its further development. Methods: abstract and logical, monographic, constructive, statistical and economic, graphic, economic and mathematical modelling. Results: recommendations on the improvement of technological potential as well as on the increase of economic efficiency and competitiveness of milk in dairy cattle breeding have been developed. Novelty: adding a statement about dairy farms' technological potential, about its formation and usage; determining the forms, the periodicity of updates and the financial sources of the material base; developing the methodical approaches to the problem of economic substantiation for technical re-equipment and reconstruction of dairy farms; specifying the principles, the terms and the sequence of the reconstruction decisions realization; advancing a number of absolutely new as for the region methodical approaches to the problem of capital investments volumes calculation for the purpose of technical potential optimization.
