Thesis is dedicated to the study of the effect of cryopreserved hepatocytes and fetal liver cells on lipid peroxidation and lipid metabolism under the conditions of allogenic transplantation in rabbits with experimental hypercholesterolemia. It has been shown that one- and two-stage cycling of temperature range from 77 (liquid nitrogen) to 194,5 К (dry ice) does not result in true decrease of viability of cryopreserved rat hepatocytes that testifies to the possibility of their transportation with the use of dry ice. Hypolipidemic effects of both cryopreserved hepatocytes and cryopreserved fetal liver cells during the first week after allogenic transplantation in rabbits with experimental hypercholesterolemia has been determined. Besides, in case of fetal liver cell transplantation during the 3d-4th week remote, more evident effects have been observed. The action of cryopreserved fetal liver cells is not restricted to hypolipidemic effects. In 4 weeks after transplantation considerable stimulation of enzymatic system of antioxidative protection in recipient liver is also observed.
