Thesis is devoted to the study of intra-personal conflicts in the process of social adaptation of students to the conditions of teaching in higher educational establishments. In the work the basic varieties of intra-personal conflicts are singled aut, that enables to examine them as informing for estimation of phase index of adaptation to teaching at higher educational establishments. The complex of psihodiagnostic measures, are offered which differentially expose different types and reasons of the indicated conflict, and the ways of its decision. Data about dezadaptation factors which predetermine intra-personal conflicts are given. One of main external factors of problems of adaptation to new conditions of teaching of students at higher educational establishment are stress situations, which cause the state of emotional tension. For overcoming of conflicts of internal character students usually use the mechanisms of psychological defense. The means of overcoming of intra-personal conflicts in the process of social adaptation of students to the conditions of higher educational establishments as psychocorrection during going through a cenrse groups of the active social-psychological teaching (ASPO) are offered; that on the whole has a favorable influence on the formation of adequate "image I" at students, optimizes the external forms of their behavour and reaction in difficult situations, activates and accelerates the process of their social-psychological adaptation to the conditions at higher educational establishments.
