Essay

The dissertation is devoted to studying of efficiency and a clinicopathogenetic substantiation application of a magnetotherapy and calcimine in patients with arthrosis, including associated osteopania and osteoporosis. Clinical, instrumental (ultrasonic osteodensiometria) as well as laboratory parameters of a bone metabolism were evaluated in 156 patients with arthrosis under the influence of magnetotherapy, calcimine and complex administration of magnetotherapy and calcimine. The administration of a low-frequency magnetic field has been established to be more effective in patients with arthrosis associated with reactive synovitis, exerts the stabilizing influence on the processes of bone resimulation mainly in patients over 45. Use of calcimine for the treatment of patients with arthrosis promoting an increase in mineral density of a bone tissue (in case of osteopenia or osteoporosis) is more often in patients over 45. Advantage of complex magnetotherapy and calcimine administration on positive clinical dynamics of the patients' conditions with arthrosis of various age including reactive synovitis with a different (I and II) stage of process has been proved.
