Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the problem of improving technical and economical indices of diesel locomotives by using the supercharging type of the cooling device with radial and circular diffuser. The presented technical decision allows to reduce the power expenses of ventilator drive and to decrease the non-ferrous metals expenses in cooling devices construction of diesel locomotives. The rational types constructions of the cooling device shafts in the diesel locomotives were defined according to the mathematical model and experimental data.
