The subject of inquiry is a development process of the baby catering establishments under the competitive market conditions. The subject of thesis investigation is theoretical-methodological and practical principles of functioning of the baby catering establishments. Research of theoretical-methodological principles of the formation of the stated subsystem has been carried out using constructive-logical methods. Statistical-economic, design-analytical, comparative, coefficient and other methods were used for determination of functioning specific character, mechanism of development of the baby catering establishments.The main goal of thesis is a conceptual principles development of the baby catering industry functioning under the conditions of socially oriented economics and on the grounds of what reasoning of perspective lines of their development.Fundamental analysis of the factors that influence the perspective development of the baby catering establishments was carried out. The peculiarities of marketing activity of the specified establishments were determined.The necessity to stimulate the baby catering establishments by the State was grounded. The goal complex program structure of the development of the specified establishments was developed. Probable demand for baby foods is estimated and perspective lines of development of the baby catering establishments are elaborated.
