Monchenko S. Public administration in western oblasts of Ukrain in postwar period: political snd administrative aspect (1944-1953)

Object: the process of sovetization of Ukraine's western regions ofter the Second World War. Goal: to research causes, character and specific of implementation and operation of public administration in Western regions of Ukraine in terms of the soviet totalitarian system in post-war time. Methods: problem-chronological, historic-comparative, analysis and synthesis, classification, periodisation, sociologicalю Results: practical recommendations, which redound to search of optimal ways of management by contemporary development of Ukraine's western regions was formulated; general direction of public administration in the region and the role of repressive-punitive system was analyzed; managerial instruments were researched and gauge of complex exploitation of Ukraine's western regions population by soviet state was shown. Usage: in elaboration of managerial programs, at preparation of lecture courses for history and theory of development of state administrative, in the system of training and retrainingof public servants.
